The County Council of Transmara has been mandated by cap 265 of the laws of Kenya through legislation to play the role of managing and improving of services in the entire jurisdiction of the Council. These services include education, game parks, health facilities, housing, garbage collection and cleaning of markets, planning and development controls, environmental management construction and maintenance of access roads.
